Walk 6,000 Miles in My Shoes
“Walk 6,000 Miles in My Shoes” is a live-action role-play simulation and reflective group discussion. Simulation participants take on the role of a refugee, flee a crisis in their home country, and attempt to resettle in the United States. Along the way, participants meet other refugees on a similar journey, navigate processes with aid organizations and government agencies, and encounter other characters and unexpected challenges.
